The Amherst Inn is 2 blocks from downtown Amherst, and directly across the street from the Emily Dickinson Homestead. Many nice shops and restaurants are an easy walk from our Inn. Amherst College is directly behind the Inn, another easy walk. University of Massachusetts is right up the road, easily accessible by free busses, car or a good 20 minute walk.
