The location itself is not exactly picturesque, but the "inn" is very close to Lake Tahoe, so it depends on what you are looking for! The room is equipped with a small microwave and a coffee machine - both were clean (surprisingly considering the room itself!).

Really lovely hotel. We stayed for four nights and almost everything was perfect. The reason I won’t give ten are two items listed below. But let’s focus and the positive things first:
- premium vibe
- heated pool
- adequate breakfast
- rooms were new and of high quality materials
- nice staff

South lake Tahoe is a nice place to visit.
South lake Tahoe is a nice place to visit. I love the fresh air and the smell of the Sierras. The restaurants are okay, they try to make you think that they have all this amazing dining experiences, but they're just pretty much mediocre everywhere you go.

It's very difficult to figure out where to go to play in the snow & parking is a nightmare wherever you go. Traffic is bad. The casinos don't even try to entertain you or tease you. The slots just take your money without even stringing you along. The slots totally sucked, especially compared to Indian casinos & that includes all the casinos in South Lake, as well as North Lake.

Wow, haven't been to South Lake Tahoe in about 6-8 years and what a HUGE difference. It's become more commercialized and not as "homey" as it once felt. A lot of the older establishments are out of business with new stuff and construction taking over. The mom and pop restaurants we went to were pretty bad. It's gone down for charm, but up for convenience. Great groceries. Whole Foods, Safeway, Grocery Outlet... few bakeries, but we were shocked at the prices. $4.25 for a bear claw pastry! Still, it's beautiful and still worth the trip. Heavenly ski resort now requires reservations for parking on the weekends. They charge for cars with less than 3 people.

S. Lake Tahoe is fine for those seeking to shop, visit casino, night life however if you want to get away from the crowds and experience nature you are better off finding accommodations on the North side of the lake.

The location is great and close to stores and beach.
The location is great and close to stores and beach. They allowed pet in the area as well and the area is very quiet and safe. The only this we don’t like is no rug for the bathroom and the entrance door. They put a white towel instead. And the window or vinyl were dusty. Overall we love the place and we had a great stay. I would recommend this to family and friends.

Compared to a lot of the other local motels in the area this is a better option. Our family stayed here in the past, & the rooms were very dated, but it has since been remodeled. Location is convenient, walking distance to Heavenly, & casinos. They also have passes for a nearby beach (which is also walkable)for $5 per person per day. The beach usually charges $25 per person. The staff is friendly.
I felt the hotel serviced my needs without being anything beyond the extraordinary. I know Tahoe will be pricey so I was glad to be in the vicinity of the activities I was going to be participating in. Location was indeed great. Close to shopping and dining. Within walking distance of the casinos if you're into that kind of thing. A clean, quiet place to spend a night.
Good location right next to heaveny tram, and also we definitely liked the free valet parking Rudy greeted us when we arrived and he was awesome. The hotel has gaming room and coffee bar which was closed when we were there but they had coffee in the lobby overall will stay here again next time we go to south tahoe. Will recommend it to my friends n family
This property is older motel style location. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to our room and it was very clean by sight and smell. Location was very convenient to Heavenly Village as well as casinos on the Nevada side. Check in was prompt and very courteous. Breakfast was minimal but fresh and sufficient. Great value!
Very nice hotel, perfectly located with fantastic staff and services! Spacious room in a quiet place, still walkable distance to ski gondola, town’s best shops and restaurants! Check up ski rental shops, they are just few minutes away!
so much loved the area!
Will definitely get back! worth to visit place, worth to stay hotel!
We loved the relaxed nature of the hotel. A lovely place to chill out and brilliant facilities to prepare your own food and make drinks etc.
Every evening they have a happy hour and free s’mores to toast on the fire pits.
The staff were all so helpful in recommending the best things to do and making us feel so welcome.
This was a nice getaway for me and my family. We loved the location, and how this newly remodeled hotel was not only so beautiful, it was clean and dog friendly, so we were able to include our furry member with our trip.
Staff was friendly and enjoyed the hotel because you didn’t have to walk through a casino to exit.
The hotel was better than I expected. I have stayed at other small hotels around Tahoe and this was a pleasant surprise. Clean, quiet, close to the resort, at a great price. In addition, the staff let me store my luggage after check-in and use their bathroom to change from my ski clothes before taking my flight.
Very good location in center of South Lake Tahoe. Excellent, friendly staff. Excellent pillows—not those foot-high, rock-hard pillows the hotel chains use. Didn’t use the two (2) pools, but other guests seemed to like them. The kitchen has a gmfrusge big enough to be usable, and even a dishwasher.
The lodge was easy to find. Despite the way I was treated and judged on my ability to stay at a hotel;
I made it a point to clean up after myself like I always do when I travel. This place was a mistake to pick and I at least I can caution my friends and family from this “lodge”.
It was a quirky, fun hotel with the BEST live music and adjoining brewery! The location was great as we could walk to restaurants and we were close to where we wanted to hike. The staff was SOOO nice and helpful!
The room was very clean with all that we needed. Shampoo, hair conditioner, soap, hair dryer, iron are available. The contactless check in and checkout are very simple and easy. The hotel is near everything.
I loved that hotel was located in close proximity to marina, state line casinos, and many ski resorts and restaurants. There was plenty of parking available. I loved that breakfast is included.
The owners are really nice. Professional and did their best to accommodate while during our stay. It was really close to the ski resort, casino, shopping center and restaurants.
We were in Tahoe for our wedding and stayed here. We had the best time! Very cool hotel and walking distance to casinos, heavenly village, restaurants, the beach, etc.
