The spacious and open living room connects to a beautiful enclosed Florida room and the kitchen features granite countertops and brand-new stainless steel appliances. The master suite has a king bed, full bathroom and cozy sitting room with a high-definition TV overlooking the patio area. A grill is located in the enclosed front courtyard and high-speed Wifi is available for guest’s use. Golfers will appreciate the close proximity to Oak Marsh, the resort’s 18-hole, 6,500-yard golf course with a par of 72. A classic Pete Dye-designed golf course, it is known for its narrow fairways and intimate greens. Just around the corner from our villa is the stunning Landmark Oak, one of four massive, old growth oak trees singled out by the developers to be preserved in the resort. The quiet, idyllic beaches are about a mile away and can be reached by a short car ride or 8-minute bike ride. Relax with your toes in the sand and listen to the ocean waves crashing! When you’re ready to cool off poolside, the Fairway Oaks complex provides residents and guests two private pools to choose from. For those travelers that like to stay active, there are six miles of walking trails within the gated resort. Explore all the resort parks and playgrounds, or visit the restaurants, shops, and spa onsite. Guests can also venture to the Historic Downtown of Fernandina Beach, about 15 minutes north by car. Please be advised this property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort (formerly known as the Amelia Island Plantation) and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities” (i.e. the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center or shuttle service), and Racquet Park is limited only to Club members and their guests (unless booking lessons or clinics).
