Kahawa Lofts are unique as they are spacious, open ( no windows) and right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! We wanted to stay true to the environment we live in and therefore you find an African-Arab style back in the loft.. Barefoot luxury in Zanzibar...

My name is Melanie. I live since 11 years on Zanzibar.

Paje Area is famous for kitesurfing. We started the first kite school 11 years ago in Paje and it became a very populair destination for kitesurfers. It's the best place in the world to learn. The water is shallow and warm. Apart from kitesurfing you can go out in Paje to the famous Jambo Bar on Friday, in Jambiani to the famous Red Monkey life jam sessions or BBQ and dance in Demani Lodge. For lunch and the best coffee of Zanzibar you don't have to move more then 5 meters down the stairs of your loft. You find the famous lunch-beach- coffee lounge mr Kahawa serving all your needs...
