breakfast was a little limited and repetitive, but seems common for hotel breakfasts in this area. Our family stayed in both the Stone Room and the Cave Room - it's not very evident from the photos but the Cave Room is alot larger and more spacious. Stone room was a little cramped. But otherwise service (hotel) was great.

It's a very unique place for a once in a lifetime experience. We did some horeriding with sunrise, watched the balloons, explored the city and did beautiful hikes in the valleys that surround Goreme. The hikes we totally recommend, you escape the big group of tourism and you can just enjoy the beautiful nature.
With half a week, say 4 days, you can see the most. We were there for a week, that was a bit too long, but we could take it slow which was perfectly fine for us. Be aware of sleeping not that much a night, because if you want to see the sunrise you have to wake up at 4:30. Goreme is a living town with lots going on, so don't come here only to rest. You can expect lots of tourists in this area.
We ate multiple times at A la Mode Restaurant & LaLinda Brasserie, this were our favorites because of the varieties in the menu.

Göreme, a great place with lots of choices, offering a vast array of restaurants and cafés. Its walkability to the Open-Air Museum and numerous trails of various levels of difficultly provide ample opportunities to explore. The is also many opportunities to rest at charming stops along the way and have a snack of cup of tea.

A beautiful small town with access to many activities (needing at least 2 full days to complete - I recommend 3 days so you avoid too many very early starts and the opportunity to rebook the Hot Air Balloon ride if it is cancelled due to poor weather. The Red tour is more about History, the Green tour is more about scenery and there is a Blue tour to see water. There is also ATV and horse riding, Turkish Baths, many restaurants and shops to visit.

Nice national park with plenty of hiking routes and guided tours around the area. The hot air balloons spectacle is also something to remember. While we did not fly one, we watched them drift in the sky as the sun was rising - and it was magical.

It is a magical place!
It is a magical place! It certainly must be on your bucket list. Goreme is quite small so it is easy to get around. Restaurants have a wonderful view, especially at night. It is worth visiting Seten restaurant, Galerie Ikman, Underground city etc.
This family run cave hotel is in a great location close to the center of Goreme. The entrance is very nice and people stop by to take pictures there. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help you. Cem, the owner, is super friendly and will help with arranging everything from airport transfer, tours, hot air balloon rides to hammam without any hassle. Breakfast is also great. My friend recommended the place to me and I will recommend it to anyone planning to visit Cappadocia. A great find!
We spent 3 nights at Cappadocia Cave Lodges and definitely that it contributes to our amazing experience in Cappadocial. Rooms are super nice, location is amazing (that aren't many hotels above), breakfast is good with some Turkish food, the rooftop has an incredible panoramic view of Goreme as well as the terrace where you can have breakfast. We also enjoyed very much our conversations with our host (we don't the name, sorry) about Portugal, Turkey, football and cats 🤪 and its advices about Cappadocia.
TAKE NOTE!!! This is my first time traveling to Turkey, and I did it solo. Staying in Arif Cave Hotel was the best thing I ever did (no cap!). It’s located on the topmost part of the city and I think it’s the nearest place if u want to go to the viewpoint!! Get the Fairy Chimney Cave, cause it has its own little cave and balcony :>Also Breakfast was really good!!! The Host was really accommodating too!! He helped me book everything, from tours to transfers :>>>
Message me for more! (ig: @thatkidnzo)
Beautiful cave hotel with stunning views of the city and best location to see the balloons in the morning from their rooftop.
Fairy chimney suite rooms are amazing, there is no place like that any where else. You have to stay in one to experience what's like.
Reception and hospitality staff were so helpful in organising all our trips for us in Cappadocia, really impressed by their efficiency, friendliness and hospitality.
One of the best places I have ever stayed in my life and I'm a regular traveller.
Everything was perfect! Mr. Murat (the owner) had been in contact with us ever since we booked and Zaki from reception was extremely kind, helpful and took good care of us once we arrived! We didn’t have to worry about any of our balloon / tour bookings as it was all arranged by the hotel.
Overall I had an amazing experience at Guzide Cave Hotel. Would recommend it to anyone!
Once again huge thanks to Mr. Murat and especially Zaki for the wonderful experience we had at Guzide Cave hotel :)
Great experience and unforgetable stay in Cappadocia thanks to this amazing host Okan and Whisper cave house. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful all the way during our long stay in Goreme+Dedicated, hard working and even entertaining to make you happy even if it rains and no balloons in the air for days 😁
Whisper house itself is in great location with beautiful terrace, comfortable rooms and great value for money to all types of travellers.
Thanks for everything buddy 🤝👏👍🙏
We booked two rooms in Cappadocia Seki Cave Hotel based on their good reviews and their close proximity to the balloons take off and landing site.
This bed and breakfast hotel offers large superior cave rooms which are a cozy and warm with the best views.
It was cold outside with strong winds but nice and toasty inside.
Breakfast is home baked and prepared fresh daily.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Overall a great stay. Perfect for everyone unless one has mobility issues with steps.
The location near the city center, spa bath, cave hotel atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff – I can say it was a perfect stay in Cappadocia for me. Especially the breathtaking view during the morning time with seeing hot air balloon from the bathroom window and terrace was incredible. The cool weather in the morning and at night, along with the sight of the balloons while enjoying a hot coffee, made it a perfect match. Definitely worth the stay!
I had a great time staying at Adelya Cave hotel. It is a very cosy place with great location and cleanliness. The hosts and staff are welcoming and guide you with everything you need in Goreme. The standout thing was however, the scrumptious breakfast in the morning- fresh, high quality ingredients and a great spread with a warm smile. I would love to go back and stay at Adelya cave in the future. :) Thanks for the amazing experience.
Wow! Wow! Wow! This hotel was absolutely amazing in every aspect you can think of. Ibrahim and his staff were so friendly and caring. We felt we were more like family than guests in a hotel. Our room was beautifully furnished and the views from the terrace were breathtaking as you could see the balloons above and the breakfast was delicious. Your only stay in Goreme should be the Charming Cave Hotel!!! By far the best!!!
If you want to experience a cave hotel, this is one of better choices! Located in center of Goreme and in higher area of the town, visitors can view the rocks from terrace or walk up to viewpoint for sunset. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts every morning. Upon our arrival, the host and his staff were super friendly and provided sufficient info about day tours or Turkish night that we could select to join.
Had a great time in Cappadocia, the Aydinli Cave Hotel was great & you can't beat the hospitality from all the team, to make you feel at home & the wonderful authentic breakfast❤😎 Managed to get a baloon flight in 🤣 Outstanding views of Cappadocia & so smooth🤗 If you want a great break away from Istanbul, then stay in Cappadocia at the Aydinli Cave Hotel & relax, to take in the wonderful sites.....
Location, location and location. It is central to the Goreme town. Close to convenience shop. Provides us the cave hotel experience.
Unpredictable weather, it is..We expected first snow fall in Cappadocia today. It was a wonderful experience.. though it was a light one, some of the areas are coved with snow..well, it is iterally everywhere!
Location was great. It is middle of the Goreme downtown. They have a small balcony by entrance. You could wake up early morning and watch balloons in the sky.
Hotel is a cave hotel, rooms are designed based on that. Do not expect 5 star hotel comfort, but we enjoyed our 2 nights stay. They have also a very rich breakfast option.
Fantastic location, incredible staff, beautiful hotel. Carus Cappadocia was the ideal hotel for us to stay in when in Cappadocia!
We stayed in a cave suite and it was not only huge in size, but huge in character and style! What an experience!
The tours organized by the hotel were simply amaxing!!! Judt trust them!
Amazing location! Our stay was really fantastic in this full luxury - but extremly special - cave hotel. every morning you have balloon flight view from the breakfast room and every evening the lights of Göreme chimnies. Also a lovely cave wellness is located in the resort.
Goreme is a small village and the hotel was perfectly located in the cave area. It’s important to note that the entrance is not on a main road and you have to walk down a few steps to get to the main entrance. The breakfast was very nice each morning.
Milat Cave Hotel was lovely. It has an excellent location close to all the main restaurants in Goreme. The room was very clean and has everything you need.
Best cave hotel in cappadocia. Excellent location, right in the centre. Great view from terrace. Walkable distance to the popular restaurants in Goreme.
