Family-run Alterna Köy Evi is located in the cosy Koyunevi Village of Assos, only 5 km from the seafront of Sokakagzi Bay. Decorated in traditional village style, the authentic rooms at the Alterna come with tea and coffee making facilities and a dining area. The private bathrooms feature a shower, hairdryer, slippers and free toiletries. Each morning a traditional Turkish breakfast is served with locally produced ingredients. The beach side café offers meals prepared with organic products, homemade pastries and Turkish ravioli. The historical town centre of Assos is 16 km away and Babakale is 14 km from the property. Edremit Airport is within 99 km.

We are people who love to be in nature, sometimes miss the city but generally love to be in a quiet village life.

Property information

We are located on the slope of a quiet and original village of Aegean village, where the stone texture is preserved, the population of which does not exceed 200 people, where there are very few sounds other than the bell sounds. The beach of our village is Sokakağzı beach, 5 km away. Our own private beach is also available of Turkey's most pristine and clean ones. In addition, we are at a distance where you can make a day trip to 4 Troy ancient cities, Kazdağları, Bozcaada and Midillli. The Troy Antique Road, where you can go trekking, also passes through our village.

Neighbourhood information

Our hotel is the only business in Koyunevi Village. The village also has 20 households. Some of our neighbors have small facilities on the Sokakağzı beach, some have bovine animals and olive groves. They are all hospitable and warm Aegean people.
