    The area is convenient for the airport but otherwise rather uninteresting. It's a new town, presumably built to accommodate the people (and their families) who built the airport and the roads leading to the airport. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and sundry shops, as well as several beautiful mosques, but that's about it. No one speaks English (to be expected) so Google translate is your friend here.

    This rather distant suburb of Istanbul is convenient to the airport (15 minute drive on a highway) but doesn’t have much else going for it. There are a number of ‘airport’ hotels along the main road but it’s not at all touristy. Very little to no English spoken ( as expected) including the hotel staff ) but everyone is friendly and willing to help using some sort of translation app. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and grocery stores along the main road , open even during Ramadan. It’s convenient for a short stopover but if you want to visit Istanbul you’re better off spending more money to stay in the city as taxi costs and traffic back and forth would not be worth it.

    The host was lovely but the only problem is that the neighbouring rooms have guests and the doors have glass panes, so the light in the hallway shone right through the door. I can’t sleep in bright light so couldn’t sleep well. The host and the other guests kept moving and talking until well past 1:00am which didn’t help especially with my early flight. The toilet looked nice but not very practical and was shared among all rooms in the floor. Positively, the toilet had a flush (shataf) which is nice for Muslim travellers. Overall, it was reasonable but not great.

    as always great hospitality, excellent service. The hotel is new and at the time of arrival there was no restaurant, but we were offered to order food from a restaurant near the hotel. Everything was delivered to our room, the food was great! Very convenient location if you need to wait for a transfer to another flight, the hotel is close to the airport. Big plus of this place that we could stay with our dog there/

    Just would repeat.

    Just would repeat. Do not recommend for guests with kids; for the rest up to their discretion regarding the smell of tobacco, the need to remind strangers of the need to follow the hotel rules, regularly ventilate their room from smoky smell, et al. The stay was nice except for smoking surrounding and aversion of the hotel management to prevent smoking in the hotel.

    The reception guy was so nice and friendly.

    The reception guy was so nice and friendly. Although I stayed for only a few hours for transit, I appreciated I had a comfortable bed for the night. The shuttle taxi looked suspicious at first glance, but it turned out to be safe and efficient!
