Atelier D is an artistic residency located in the heart of the Medina of Tunis, which has been considered a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. Atelier D serves as a meeting place for artists from around the world seeking an inspiring space for creation and the exchange of ideas. It also welcomes curious travelers who wish to discover Tunisia and engage with local residents for beautiful experiences and adventures. Accommodation: The house consists of three well-equipped bedrooms, and two bathrooms - one connected to a bedroom and the other shared, a terrace, a living room (co-working space), and a spacious patio. The house is equipped with free Wi-Fi, and the bedrooms are air-conditioned. Payment is possible only in cash.

We are three artists who met during our artistic adventures, and a close friendship developed between us. We decided to live together as a small family and create an artistic residence. Our home is a free and safe space where travelers, creators, and artists can come together, exchange ideas, and share cultural experiences and reflections from around the world.

The Medina of Tunis, one of the oldest and most charming neighborhoods in Tunisia, was founded in 698 AD. It was one of the richest cities in the Arab world, with many surviving monuments from the 12th to the 16th century. The area features 700 historical sites, including the Zitouna Mosque, Casbah Mosque, and various palaces and souks. The neighborhood is vibrant and full of life, offering a perfect blend of traditional architecture and modern conveniences. It's a great place to explore, soak in the local culture, and experience the unique atmosphere of Tunis.
