Our cozy apartment is located in the heart of the Julian Alps, close to the triple border with Italy and Austria. It is part of a house where we live with our family, but you will have your own privacy and space. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, such as a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, a bedroom, Internet, TV and games. The decor is simple and elegant, with wooden furniture and warm colors. The apartment also has two balconies, where you can enjoy the stunning views of the magnificent Špik mountain group and the reinvigorating air of the natural surroundings. Our apartment offers you a perfect getaway to connect to nature and yourselves. You will also have access to the nearby hotel’s facilities, such as sauna, spa and services, which are only 50m away. You will feel like you are secluded from the civilization, but actually close to everything you need and a starting point to numerous attractions of the three regions. We invite you to stay in our apartment and experience the authentic and natural beauty of Slovenia. We will make sure you feel comfortable and welcome, and we will provide you with everything you need for a memorable stay.
Hello, we are a family of four living in this house - me and my wife are both working in Ljubljana, commuting or from home, with our son in high-school and daughter engaged in local tourism. We are all active internationally and have travelled a lot and seen different lands and cultures and learned to appreciate our local, alpine one very much. We want to share its riches with many guests who typically just fall in love with Martuljek and our nature. We enjoy hosting people from all over the world and making them feel at home. We are always happy to chat with our guests, give them tips and recommendations, and help them with anything they might need. We also respect their privacy and space, and let them enjoy their stay at their own pace. We love nature and outdoor activities, such as hiking, skiing, cycling, and swimming. We also like to read, watch movies, play games, and cook. We are friendly, easy-going, and open-minded. We speak Slovenian, English, German, and Italian. We look forward to hosting you in our apartment and making you feel part of our family!
Our apartment is located in a quiet village Gozd Martuljek on the edge of the forest, in the valley of the river Sava Dolinka. This is a beautiful area, rich in natural and cultural attractions. You can enjoy relaxing walks by the water and in the forest, which start right from our doorstep. If you love hiking and climbing, you will find plenty of trails and routes in the vicinity, ranging from easy to challenging. You can also visit the stunning Martuljek waterfalls, the picturesque Zelenci nature reserve, or the historic ironworks in Jesenice. Our location is also ideal for exploring the region, as we are close to the ski center of Kranjska Gora and the beautiful Carinthian lakes, which offer you more opportunities for fun and adventure. You can also easily reach the highway, which connects you to Austria and Italy, in 20 minutes, or the airport in 45 minutes. You can visit the charming towns of Tarvisio and Monte Lussari in Italy, or the scenic mountain pass of Wurzenpass and the lake of Faaker See in Austria. You can also discover the cultural and historical heritage of Slovenia, such as the medieval castle of Bled, the alpine museum of Mojstrana, or the capital city of Ljubljana. It is possible to taste the three cultures touching each other in this unique part of Alps. Our neighborhood has everything you need for a convenient and enjoyable stay. The shop, restaurant and bus station are within walking distance, just 100m from the apartment. You can also find other services, such as a pharmacy, a bank, a post office, and a tourist office, in the nearby town of Kranjska Gora, which is only 5 km away. Our neighbourhood is a friendly and welcoming community, where you can experience the authentic and natural lifestyle of the Slovenian Alps. You will love the scenery, the tranquillity, and the hospitality of the locals. You will feel like you belong here.
