Our fritidshus is really a place to relax and leave everything behind during the holidays. In the morning you can enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace while you look at the shimmering lights on the lake. You will be able to go for a beautiful hike in the area or take our kayaks out on the lake that is less than 150 meters from the house. You also have the opportunity to go boating with our rowing boat. If you prefer to just relax in the hammock to read a book, than that is also a possibility. If you come with family/friends/children you can put up the badminton net, play crocket, darts or other outdoor games that are present in the game shed. For the little children there is a small play(tree!)house a swing and many other games (e.g. crocket, balls, inflatable babypool, etc...). In the months June/July you will find lots of blue berries around that are just waiting to be picked. On our own land you can pick the raspberries to complete your breakfast or to add it to your dessert. The house has one bedroom with a double bed (180x200). The two bunkbeds are in the guesthouse that is about 25 meters from the original house.
Our names are Marcus and Janet. Marcus is from Sweden and Janet from the Netherlands. It was in 2015 that we drove around in this part of Sweden, when we more or less by accident stumbled on this beautifully located Fritidshus. The main house was build in 1963 and was later extended in 1985. At that time the guesthouse was also build. When we saw the house, the space and freedom, the lake view and the tranquility and peace we were sold. In 2016 we completly renovated the house to make it suitable for summer and winter to stay in. We are very happy to welcome you in to our house and share the beauty of this part of Sweden with you. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Malexander is only 7km away. Here you can find restaurants, gasstation (that also sells the basic needs), mini-golf, horseback riding, sauna and beach. Boxholm, where you can find the nearest supermarkets, is 23 km away.
