Sunset Vista apartment is in a lovely rural, farming area, around 10 minutes drive from the village of Cardigos, with its grocery stores, cafes and 2 great restaurants. The apartment has everything you could need for your stay, with a private entrance up some stairs at the front of the main building, a balcony and garden to catch the sun and watch the beautiful sunsets. The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds for children, a lovely, cosy sitting room/ kitchen area with log fire, and a spacious bathroom with walk in shower and a bidet. The apartment is in the municipality of Macao, but 30 km from the town of Macao. Because we are in very rural surroundings a car or other means of transport is advisable as there is no public transport near to the apartment. unfortunately our apartment is not suitable for wheelchair access or people with limited mobility due to the entrance by stairs We do not have a cot/crib or child safety catches on kitchen cupboards in the apartment. Younger children should always be accompanied by an adult on the stairs and balcony.
The annexe apartment is part of our house where we live full time. So we are never far away if you need anything.
During the summer months (Jun -Sep) we host pizza nights for guests and locals once a week. We cook home made pizzas in our bread oven and provide wine and soft drinks in our pretty outdoor area and ask that you give us however much you think your meal was worth . We hope you will come and join us!
