Countryside property- Feel the nature within the city. Located in Montijo city center, it's the best balance between a farmstay with animals, garden and nature around, while having the best from being in a city center, 20 mins across the river from Lisbon! With Newly refurbished rooms and services, restaurants and supermarkets within a 5 min walk, it's an amazing stop for anyone looking for a break without going too far.
Montijo - Where Portugal's interior south begins! Portugal's capital city of flowers, with it's origins related to the Order of Santiago back in the 12th century, is today a small typical town located 20 mins away from Lisbon. First town after crossing the 23km bridge that goes across the huge Tagus river. Easy accessible by ferry from the center of Lisbon. Land of horses, bulls and 'Lezirias' (unique portuguese word from arab-origin meaning: big flatlands flooded from the river) has been historically one of the main ports connecting business and people from the southern lands to our capital. Commerce of meat, fish and cork led to it's growth over many decades! The closest stop from Lisbon to feel the unique quiet and slow vibe of our arab-origins' south.
