With a capacity up to 8 people, Villa Carlota has been totally refurbished and beautifully decorated by it’s interior designer owner, and now provides first class holiday accommodation for families and groups of friends. Offering complete privacy and an abundance of space, both inside and out, the unique location will guarantee you have a truly peaceful and relaxing stay. Located only 5 minutes from shops, restaurants and bars, it will be hard to find a better location for a villa holiday in Madeira. The lounge is a relaxation oasis with it’s comfortable sofas and chairs, flat screen cable TV and DVD player. With floor to ceiling and wall to wall sliding windows, the lounge is fresh and bright with views that are unforgettable. The reading room has the peculiarity of being able to be transformed into a bedroom, with a very comfortable and practical fold-out double bed. In the rear corner of the lounge, adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen, is a rectagular dining table that seats 8. The whole ground floor opens out into the south facing terrace where you will find the swimming pool and outdoor seating and dining. City tax: As the apartment is located in Santa Cruz, it is subject to the tourist tax (eco tax). It's 1EUR per day, per person, up to 5 days for those over 18 years old, from the 1st of January of 2023 this amount will increase to 2EUR, up to 7 days for those over 18 years old. For further clarification, consult with us. Pool heating: There is an extra cost of 50EUR per day with a minimum of 7 days. In case of late check in: Check in until 22h00: free/no extra charge Check in between 22h00 and 00h00: 30EUR Check in after 00h00: 50EUR

Neighborhood info

Garajau is a small coastal village close to Caniço, east of Funchal. Local attractions include the imposing Cristo Rei statue, which gazes across the Atlantic. Take a bracing walk along the Ponta da Garajau headland, which boasts spectacular views of the Desertas Islands on a clear day. Within a 5 minute walk there are a number of excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. There is also a beauty salon, gift shop, supermarket, dry cleaners and greengrocers. A truly great location. Funchal is only a 10 minute drive away.
