Just walking around Lisbon is like being in a real-time art gallery with all the graffiti and music artists. Lisbon has many historical sights, if that is of interest. If you plan to walk everywhere you better be in shape, everything is either up or down. Cobbles everywhere and many, many stairs. It seemed expensive to eat. The monastery was well worth visiting even though it was a difficult climb. Take a tram. Find a guide. There was someone, offering to guide tourists through the city, up at the monastery. Seemed very knowledgeable.

We stayed 4 days in Lisbon and had a wonderful time. One day we did the hotel walking tour, another day we did a food/cultural tour through Viator which was fabulous. Another day we went to Sintra for the day and saw Amazing castles and our last day we took the speed train to Porto. We liked Alfama old town and the Castle, Belem Center and Ajuda Palace, Down town, the elevators and funiculars, the Tiles Museum and The Archaeological one and The Churches (Sn. Roque, Sn. Vincent etc..). We ate wherever we felt hungry, as Lisbon seems to have a huge offer to comfort hungry tourists. It is very easy to travel in Lisbon and we have certainly highly appreciated the way transportation in Lisbon is organised. I stayed for 3.5 days and was able to see the whole city, go to Belem touwer and the monastery, and Sintra. It is not the most clean city and there is some parts that are just besides the touristy parts that are a bit run down. I don't think the monastery is worth the wait to go into it. My favorite building was the pantheon, because you could go up and had a great view of the city. Bring some good walking shoes and spend the first day just walking around and getting to know the city, that way the other days you can explore more outside of the center. It is very easy to use the public transport in Lisbon. Most lines go every 3-5 minutes!!!. ALSO for food go to the food market which is near Cais do Sodré!!!

All the facilities are amazing, from the reception, to the breakfast area, until the room. Also, the view from the room to Lisbon is beautiful. The Staff, I don’t even need to mention, they are 10/10, good people with good care and respect for their guests, always available 24/7. I don’t know why Zurin Charm Hotel is considered 2 stars as it is a truly 5 star experience.
