Rest and relax in this calm and elegant space and recharge your energies directly from the Douro River. Enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine in a bucolic setting. Step outside to the outdoor laser area and have a drink or dine to the sound of silence! The decoration of the houses is themed, the 2-bedroom house is the Traveler's House by the Douro Valley and the 1-bedroom house is called the Writer's Retreat by the Douro Valley. Guests will have access to the outdoor area, with tables, a barbecue, a swimming pool and a parking space. Regarding the use of the pool, it will only be shared by the 2 houses: Traveler's house (maximum 4 people) and Writer's Retreat (maximum 3 people). Regarding safety and despite all the efforts that we have made to reduce risks, children should never, NEVER stop being supervised by their parents, especially in the pool area, BECAUSE THE POOL IS NOT GUARDED! Important information, although a sliding door separates them, the 2 rooms are interconnected, guests staying in the smaller room (2 single beds) will have to go through the master bedroom. Only 45 minutes by car from the centre of Porto, 1 hour from Porto Airport, 1H30 from Régua (the main destination for Port Wine), 45 minutes by car from the Atlantic Ocean or 25 minutes from Passadiços do Paiva. It is the perfect place if you want to explore the northern region of Portugal. From the property, you can take the Viver o Douro riverside pedestrian route. We recommend the following walks: - the neighboring town of Midões (1 km), Raiva Beach (2 km) Pedorido Beach (6.5 km)
