My name is Luís Ferro, I am the current manager of Casa de São Cucufate - Turismo Rural, which, together with my children, I continue a project of my mother and aunts, founded during Expo 98. Over the years, we have excelled in a personalised family service. Currently we are innovating, following the natural evolution of the times, using the platforms, but maintaining the personal and family service. Come and visit us. For our part we guarantee a lot of sympathy and a good evening of relaxation. Vila de Frades, is becoming increasingly known for the dissemination of Talha wine, an ancient product that is finally being made known to the world. Right next to our accommodation, there is an establishment and cellar of this product. Throughout the village you can also visit other establishments. We are very close to the Roman baths of São Cucufate (1.3Km), in which is the origin of the name of our house.

"Casa de Campo de São Cucufate" is located in the small and quiet village of Vila de Frades, Vidigueira, 30 minutes by car from Beja (24km). The Casa de Campo offers its guests a pleasant place to rest, in the tranquility of the Alentejo. It is distinguished from the other lodgings in the area by its antique and handmade decoration, representing the traditional decorations of the old houses of Alentejo. The client can also enjoy our outdoor leisure areas and the swimming pool for free. Come spend a weekend with us and your family. You will see that it was the right choice for a quiet and serene getaway.

Neighbourhood information

Vila de Frades, at the beginning of December is held the Vitifrades (Wine Fair of Talha) and we can visit the Roman Ruins of São Cucufate (thermal station). It is 1.7 km from Vidigueira, where stands out, among others, the Mountain Bike Race and the Motard Concentration. It is 24 km from Beja, 56 km from Évora and about 50 km from the Alqueva Dam.
