Welcome to our charming home in Ponte da Barca! We are Laura and Vitor, along with our children Marco and Bruna. We are a dedicated and happy family, passionate about the rich culture and traditions of our country. Our century-old house, carefully preserved, is a true testament to our love for traditional Minho cuisine and the rustic charm of the region. Located in the picturesque Ponte da Barca, within the majestic Peneda-Gerês National Park, we are surrounded by lush nature and a wealth of festivals and traditions that make this area such a sought-after destination. We love nature and adventures, and we want every guest to feel the tranquility and relaxation that this special place provides. We strive to make you feel at home, embraced by the typical energy of Minho and our warm and authentic hospitality. In the vicinity of our property, you'll find the Santuário de Nossa Senhora da Paz, a place of deep devotion from 1917 until the 50th Anniversary of the Apparitions in 1967. This sanctuary attracted the first crowds of devotees soon after reports were published in local newspapers, even before news of the Fátima apparitions. After decades of fervent devotion, an image was finally authorized for veneration at the site of the apparitions in the 1960s. In addition to the sanctuary, our region offers the Quartz Museum, where visitors can explore the area's rich mineral wealth. The charming village of Ponte da Barca boasts historical landmarks, including the impressive Lindoso Castle. Nature enthusiasts can discover hidden waterfalls of unparalleled beauty, providing a unique experience of serenity and awe.
