Outstanding everything!
First, the apt. is incredibly well appointed; it is full of both design and comfort details (including all appliances, water, snacks, beach towels and mats, personal care items, proper desk). Quiet, efficient aircon, good lighting, a lovely large balcony with seating and plants, security. Tasteful and beach stylying decoration, too.
Secondly - Clean, comfortable and a brilliant location near the beach, services and super eating options, it has it all.
Maria, the owner, was one of the most considerate hosts we've ever experienced across all stays, worldwide, making it to our top 3.

Suprisingly nice blend of beach experience with the benefits of the local suburban community with the conveniences of grocery stores, gas, drug stores, etc. The local beaches are nice, Playa Luquillo and Playa Azul, have different feel, good beach experiences for north shore Atlantic Ocean side. The kioska at Luqillo Beach offer some good eats and drinks. This location is convenient by car to Fajardo, San Juan, and the Rain Forest.RobertUnited States - 10Scored 10

Lovely, friendly, informal beach town. We really liked it. All very walkable. Our favorite breakfast place was Coffee Therapy. Good coffee, good breakfast and very nice staff. La Fonda is a very good restaurant.

We love Luquillo!
We love Luquillo! It is the best town and such an easy drive to Luquillo beach (and kiosks) and the wonderful El Yunque National Rainforest. We were glad to have a car, I don't know how we would have done it otherwise.

We stayed here after hiking in El Yunque and driving elsewhere the following day. We enjoyed a little bit of time on the beach, experienced the kioskos for dinner, and that was plenty. I didn't see much else to do in Luquillo other than that.JuliaUnited States

You check in and you still get metal room keys. It sure is an ocean front hotel! Some storm took the beach completely away and now the waves literally wash up against the hotel. And the ocean waves can toss crabs over the wall into the pool. There was one lady there completely bilingual and immensely helpful. They have little patios off each room. You will hear the ocean at night. Easy walk to the Luquillo eateries.

The apartment is clean and comfy - the spacious balcony is the place to be. Three bedrooms with large beds - the two in the back have very bright lights outside, so bring a sleeping mask unless you plan to close the metal blinds and use the air (totally unnecessary in March).
