The renowned Rangatira Golf Course with its world-famous three tiers and lift is just five minutes away. A 20-minute drive will take you to the mysterious White Cliff Boulders, and the charming Awastone café is just up the road. Hunterville with it's quaint shops and well-stocked convenience store 'Taylors'. As the property overlooks a paddock, it’s important that guests do not wander into this area due to the risks involved (tripping take caution as the deck may be slippery on frosty note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. The Rangitīkei region lies below Whanganui, to the southern Tongariro National Park, it includes the Ruahine Ranges and includes the entire length of the magnificent Rangitīkei River. Rangitīkei is developing as an area for adventure tourism, as well as offering some truly special scenery.
