Welcome to Two-Peas-In-A-Pod, Wellington's best kept secret! These little beauties have been purpose-built (and flown in by Helicopter!) for you to enjoy. The Pods are facing Mount Kaukau Nature Reserve and are accessed via our garden path stairs that snake up to the back of our property. A private oasis awaits, where you can relax among New Zealand's stunning native flora and fauna. You will love spotting the birds including Tui, Fantail, Kaka, and Kereru that frequently visit from your private deck or from your own private outdoor bath tub. Take a walk up Mount Kaukau straight from the house, or just sit back, sip on a cheeky bubbles or two and unwind in this tranquil natural paradise. With Wellington city only 20min away by train we at Two-Peas-In-A-Pod offer both city scape and nature for the discerning traveler. Note: There are two separate, completely self-contained luxurious Pod's available, each with their own private deck and outdoor bath tub. The walk up to the Pods includes steps but will be rewarded with unrivaled privacy. Wellington City is build on hills. So unfortunately, the Pods are not suitable for the mobility impaired.
We are excited to welcome you to our amazing Pods in the Native Bush, we have spent several years planning this beautiful retreat, and we cannot wait to share it with you. We have two lovely little girls and the most gentle German Shepherd on the planet.
Khandallah is one of Wellington's most scenic areas. We are located on the edge of Wellington's largest green belt and the pods are situated at the base of Mt KauKau, which is a large reserve with beautiful walks and spectacular views across Wellington city and harbor. It is a 15 min walk into the village which has several excellent eateries, cafes, a pub, supermarket, pharmacy and doctors.
