#TravellerReviewAward2022 - This is a brand new stylish, but rustic romantic getaway for couples or singles seeking to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the hustle of the city. Enjoy the 1-bedroom barn with comfy Queen bed and luxury linens. Completely self contained and very private. Breathe in the fresh country air with rural views. A little slice of country just 45 minutes north of Auckland and situated a mere 7 minute drive into central Warkworth, gateway to Matakana Wine Country, the weekend Farmers Market, boutique shopping, restaurants, cinema, stunning Omaha beach and surrounding regional parks. Set on a 5-acre lifestyle property with picturesque views, you will enjoy a slice of rural living with the barn situated approximately 200 metres away from the main house, it is very private and tranquil. Take a short 20-minute drive into Matakana to pick up all of your gourmet treats to make a gorgeous dinner in the fully equipped kitchen or visit one of the many restaurants and cafes around the region.
This is a new venture into hospitality for me following my early retirement from 20 years spent in public health care. I have vast local knowledge having lived in the area for nearly 20 years and am happy to offer suggestions or recommendations if required.
