Founder of MyStays, Elle Knight, took ownership of Lakeside Accommodation in 2014 when it had just eight properties. Less than 10 years later, she has built a team of 30 staff who manage more than 70 properties around the Lake Taupo region - all via word-of-mouth. Over the years, Elle has established robust systems and processes that allow her to provide an extremely high level of service. This is then passed down to her employees, through best-practice training and development. There’s no question that the MyStays team are the experts in managing listings, marketing properties and taking care of guest communications. And on the ground - our GEMs are highly skilled in all areas of day-to-day property management, knowing that the details matter when ensuring that guests enjoy their stay.

Additionally, ample off-street parking allows you to bring extra vehicles, boats, or jet skis. The Tin Hut comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, offering a queen bed in the master bedroom, another queen bed in the second bedroom, and two singles in the third bedroom, along with a sofa bed in the living room, ideal for children or one adult. Enjoy the serene outdoor entertaining area and fire up the BBQ, perfect for both winter and summer with the louvre roof system. Your furry friend is also welcome to join, with a spacious outside lock-up and kennel provided.
