We love it here that is why we have stayed so long. so close to Whangarei, walking distance to everywhere and yet has the rural feel and a feeling of space. Ask us anything about social life, where to eat, what you like to do and more than likely we have experienced it here in our beautiful town of Whangarei. . and sit on small deck on balcony of cabin to watch the garden grow. Help yourself to fruit or veg growing in garden when available. thanks for choosing Whangarei and choosing to stay with us. recently we have acquired beautiful sea views which we can share with our guests from cabin. at night when whangarei is all lit up its great to see the infamous bridge that lifts up to let boats pass. and you have awesome panaramic city views now too. during the day you can see whangarei heads and kissing point.

check in time is after 3pm and check out time is 1030am. quaint, quirky, elevated, quiet small cabin. small, suited for 1 traveller who craves the independance without the hefty price tag. maintained garden. there is a beautiful sea view, your elevated and plenty of nature and sea to while away the evening. night time view is pretty nice too. Not ideal for 2 people but manageable if just for a night or two at most. no children. But we would not recommend it for more than a couple nights for 2 people due to very minimum facilities. The cabin accomodation is also not appropriate for children guests so we do not recommended children stay here due to lack of child facilities. There is a hot shower. and there is also your own private park. pls access cabin via veg garden. pls help yourself to any veg. The private road has large gravel stones on, it is not owned by us. If you are worried about the road due to lowered car or similiar please park on morningside road. Our driveway is fully concreted with 24 hour survellience. thanks for choosing our cabin named the monarch because of all the butterflies it attracts. We are walking distance to Okara shopping centre and stadium. We do not allow smoking in cabin. Check out time is 1030am. It is quiet and peaceful and ideal if you want to catch up on sleep after travel or need access to town facilities. Contact hosts by texting.

morningside is quiet part of town, always popular due to location of town to morningside. its on a hill so all day sun for all us sunny morningsiders. we have playing fields beside the local school and every day something is happening there to look at. the playground is not extensive but always used. the fish and chip shop is always busy which is a great sign. the local shop stores everything u may need. Morningside has its own loop walk around it. about 5k. people are constantly on the morningside loop walking dog and running. so active neighbourhood where all the houses are not the same. there are plenty of secret little houses tucked away. a few people have swimming pools and often on a third or half or quarter acre as land packages were in past. its walking distance to mitre 10. and plenty of other highly desirable shops like car fix shops and day care facilities. Kaka st has cafe called PURE with wonderful baked on day food. Your in the city but your not. accessible if need be but removed too. our neighbourhood is excellent quiet, bird sounds. its not like a city property. house position is great for privacy. Our private road not owned by us is not in a good repair. If you are doubious about your car travelling on the short road 80m, please park car on morningside road where there is off street parking.
