I work at University of Canterbury and City Council. We like to meet people from all over the world and make new friends. As a family, we love travelling whenever we can, we bulit a motorhome with a lot of love and travel around NZ whenever we can. We usually explore the nearby places during weekends. I also love reading, gardening and watching movies together afterdinner time. Hosting to me is inviting friends from all over of the world to be guests at my home. Our home is located on a peaceful street with the most convenient location, 4 minutes drive to Christchurch International Airport, easy walking distance to Avonhead mall & shops and beautiful Burnside parks is just out of your door. The house is nestled in a picturesque setting, well positioned to catch all day sun, and boasting a big section that looks good all year round! It has been well-loved and tastefully renovated throughout recently! It's Featured with large king bedroom, an open plan kitchen & dining area and a spacious lounge that overlooks a sunny Deck. Just throw yourself in a modern kitchen and bathroom with quality fittings / appliances, you will love here as I do!💖 HOUSE RULES Please read our house rules carefully and kindly keep them in mind during your stay. 1. No parties or events allowed. And No illegal substances are allowed on the premises. 2. No smoking allowed. 3. No pets are allowed. 4. No unregistered guests allowed. 5. Please respect check-in and check-out time. 6. If you have a car, please park your car on either side of the road or on our driveway! 7. Please always leave your door key in the fruit tray when you check out. If you carry it around and lost, we will charge replacement fee. 8. Please open the window after you get up to ensure the ventilation. But please close all the windows and turn off the heater(if you had it on), lock our main door and gate whenever you go out & before you check out. 9. Please take good care of all furnishings. If any damage happens, you will need to compensate for it. I really don't want this to happen to you. Please do remember place placemats(they're in the water tray) on the dining table whenever you have hot food. Our dining table doesn't like hot stuff and it will show obvious marks if you don't treat it nicely. 10. Please not to talk very loudly on the phone or video chat after 10 pm to respect the other guest. 11. If you need to wash clothes, you are welcome to use our

LOCAL TRANSPORT INFORMATION Our house is located very close to Burnside park, UC, Westfeild shopping mall, downtown and Christchurch main attractions - for example, the Christchurch Museum, the Riverside Market, the Botanic Garden and Hagley Park, all within 10 minutes’ driving. However, if you’d like to venture a bit further, you can choose Adventure Park, the Summer or Taylors Mistake, there are a lot of gorgeous hiking routes around there. Bus stop are very nearby, in very short walking distance. You can catch the bus on Withells Road or on Avonhead Road. It will almost take you to anywhere in Christchurch.
