This is a off the grid, not quite finished cottage. It is Glamping. A one room space, with outdoor cooking on a gas bar-b-que. Shower is gas in its own shed. Toilet is a modern long drop into a septic tank. Lights and fridge are run by solar power. USBcharging system for phones. Fully fenced.Dogs (Animals) Welcome It is a private spot that you can relax and enjoy the country feel without anyone looking at you or telling you to not make to much noise. A excellent spot for Trampers, Walkers, Bikers or just anybody to enjoy a restful day or two before continuing your journey. Many walks in the area. With the Wanganui River across the main road. 3 min walk. With a swimming beach. Please be aware of rain fall with rips. Also a native bush walk right by the river with the biggest Punga trees I have seen. The bush has never been cut down, even though this was once a milling town. There is also a 10km round river walk/bike from the Cottage.

We are a couple who enjoy hiking and sightseeing. Travelling. We cleared the section from over grown trees and blackberry. And built the cabin on it. We have our own lifestyle block near Taumarunui. We have 2 horses and Wife helps with horse riding school holiday programs and youth horse riding programs. We also have a cat and a tiny dog. We both work full time.
