A picturesque village set on a quiet bay on the northern end of Lake Taupō, Kinloch is a relaxing retreat and an absolute paradise for keen golfers with a number of great golf courses just minutes away. If you forget your clubs at home or decide on a whim to give it a go, you're in luck as Kinloch Family Retreat has golf clubs you can borrow! Golfing not your thing? There's plenty more to do and see in Kinloch, and it's just an easy 20 minute drive in to Taupo Central for a spot of shopping or a relaxing lunch. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
