Ironsands Studio Unit is separate self-contained accommodation located behind the house at 4 Elizabeth Street, Patea. Turn into Hadlow Street towards the sea, then right into Elizabeth Street, We are at the end of the cul de sac on the left. Drive on the grass to the left of the house until you park on the concrete pad at the front of the studio. Here you will find a cute little unit with a small kitchenette and full bathroom, and a private back yard and herb garden. Remember, good things come in small packages. Ironsands Studio Unit has been designed and built by me - I'm very proud of my efforts and the reaction of people who have visited and stayed. Patea is a great little beach town, and a great place to get away from the city. We have a cafe, petrol station, supermarket, museum, car museum, art gallery, library, world famous butcher and community internet provider, as well as some small funky stores. Patea is a diverse community with a large farming community sorrounding it. We also have a stunning view of Mount Taranaki right up the main street, very awesome when arriving from the south. Patea is located 25 minutes from Hawera and 45 minutes from Whanganui, giving visitors a wide area to explore from a central point.
