The bedrooms are separate & private from the main house. Please note that both rooms now have their own private bathrooms, each with internal access from the rooms. The rooms have a veranda with outdoor table & chairs looking onto a tropical established private garden. We are a private residence and live on-site. We are not a Hotel or Motel. Our property is 300metres from shops & cafes and 600metres from the beach..a stroll to the eateries and the beach where there is a track from the beach to start your walk to Cathedral Cove which is approximately a 45minute walk from Hahei beach. There is a restaurant across the road from our property called 'The Church Bistro', plus a boutique brewery serving beverages & food in close proximity to the grocery store and cafes all within easy walking distance from our property. Breakfast is not provided but there is tea, coffee, sugar, milk, in the pantry cupboard of the room along with a under bench fridge, microwave, toaster & kettle if guests wish to bring their own provisions for breakfast. There is an excellent cafe 300 meters away serving excellent breakfasts & lunches. There is free parking on our driveway for guests

Rick & i (Adair) have lived in Hahei for 13years. We enjoy the surrounding rural areas and beautiful coastline and its stunning beaches ..Cathedral Cove, Hahei, Hotwater Beach and the outer islands. The Cafes, restaurants and beaches provide a leisurely lifestyle. We have done a lot of travelling throughout the world over the past 20yrs so we are very mindful of what is expected and appreciated from guests when booking our rooms.

There is the magnificent walk to Cathedral Cove, hot thermal water at Hotwater beach, beautiful walks, kayaking, snorkelling, diving, swimming, biking & horse riding. The 'Hahei Explorer' is a highly recommended 1hr boat trip with Cathedral Cove, the Islands, the marine reserve & blow hole scenery. As an alternative a water taxi is in service during the summer months transporting guests to and from Cathedral Cove.
