At Angel's Rest you will stay in superbly comfortable accommodation in a quiet rural setting, five minutes from Geraldine. Generous en-suite room with private entrance, tea and coffee & home baking. Full breakfast menu includes fresh baked croissants & home preserves. Free WiFi.
Having B&B'ed overseas ourselves, we appreciated meeting local people and enjoying their hospitality and local knowledge. Being 'people people', we like spending time with our guests to make them feel welcome and helping them have a memorable stay.
Only two hours from Christchurch and just off Highway 79, we are within easy reach of ski fields, trout fishing, Tekapo Dark Sky Reserve, Aoraki/Mt Cook, and the stunning Southern Lakes. Geraldine offers so much with its cafes and shops, Vintage Car & Machinery Museum, rhododendron walk, Talbot Forest bats, locally made cheeses and chocolates, & Barker's conserves. With many day excursions available to Peel Forest, the Homestead & historic church of the Holy Innocents, Lord of the Rings country at the head of the Rangitata River, and the awesome Mesopotamia Station, Geraldine is so much more than an overnight stay.
