This is a cozy, traditional house, only 80 meters from the sea. You are free to use the wood fired hot tub, as long as you buy wood and do all the preparations/cleaning. The house is over 100 years old, and parts of the house was renovated in 2021. The house have low ceilings and doors so be aware of that. It is located in a sunny area, in scenic surroundings, and shortly up to the mountain. This is a great starting point for mountain tours, SUP, fishing, bike rides etc. The house is 9 km from Leknes city center (10 minutes by car), located in the middle of Lofoten. At Leknes you will find airport, shops, restaurants and most of the things you may need. Located about 8 km from the town of Stamsund, which also has some shops, pubs and restaurants. There you can take the boat "hurtigruten" to for example, Bodø or Svolvær. Parts of the house was renovated summer 2021. It has now been fully insulated against the cold, and all the windows is changed. The house has got an extended living area with as great view through the big windows. The house has low ceilings, which makes the house cozy and intimate, but it should be noted that some may have to bend some places in the house. The ceiling is low especially on the bathroom, the hall, and through the doors. Please keep in touch if you need more information about this. The bathroom is really small, but the shower is spacious. Even though it is place for 8-9 people to sleep in the house, its more recommended for up to 4-6 because of the size of the house, especially the kitchen and bathroom. But it depends on what kind of comfort that is preferred during the stay. Spring/summer 2023 the outdoor area will be upgraded, and the hot tub will be moved closer to the house. There is a charger for electric cars outside the house, and it is supposed to fit all electric cars as long as you bring your own cable.
