Enter BACKPACK Hotel is our low budget hotel for young backpackers in our group of hotels in Tromsø. Our Enter Tromsø Hotel & Apartments is a hotel chain in Tromsø. The current owners have been running these hotels for two decades in Tromsø. With 5 different hotels and a whole variety of apartments we should be able to satisfy many preferances for our guests.

Welcome to Enter Backpack Hotel. One of town's budget options and a perfect mix between hotel and hostel. . Here, we have combined the best of both worlds - the privacy and comfort of a hotel room with the convenience and socializing of our common areas. We are designed for YOUNG travellers, but welcome people of all ages with a young spirit. We are located on the last street of the city center, overlooking the beautiful Fjord and "Storsteinen" mountain. We are 5 minutes walk from Storgata, Tromsø Domkirke and 10 minutes from Polaria and the Polar Museum. The Arctic Cathedral can be seen from our common areas. If Aurora appears in the city center you will be able to see it from our location as we are on the border of the city center and the local's territory. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where travellers can feel at home while abroad. The Arctic environment is extreme, merciless and beautiful. Our base is aimed to be the perfect hassle-free base for visitors to relax and fuel up before their many adventures in the region. BE AWARE: You will climb a hill to get here. In the winter it can be slippery. Can create issues if you have difficulties walking. The reward is calm, peace and a beautiful view. WE DO NOT HAVE AN ELEVATOR! - We are located in a historical, traditional building. There are only stairs connecting our 4 floors. DO NOT BOOK BASED ON THE LOW PRICE! - We meet visitors that are not aware of what they book and end up dissapointed. If you are looking for a traditional hotel, we are not the one. We will welcome everyone and make them feel at home, as we also want to avoid expectations that cannot be met. We offer for free: - Communal kitchen - Tv-lounge - Outside terrace - Dining hall - Laundry facility - Wifi. We look forward to welcome you!
