The area is now being used by the government mainly as a residence, cycling and walking region where the focus is on culinary and authentic, and in addition organizing events in this area. The Achterhoek has been voted the best cycling area in the Netherlands for nothing! Camping Den Borg is a campsite for young and old and is located just outside of Rekken in the Gelderse Achterhoek, only 1 kilometer away from the German border. The campsite has two swimming pools, a number of playgrounds, a snack bar and a supermarket with a reasonable range, where freshly baked bread rolls are available every day. In the canteen (with a covered terrace) you are welcome for all kinds of activities, a drink, a snack or a simple meal. There are regular activities such as regular bingo, disco, darts, dance nights, card nights, a playback show and much more. There are also two billiards.
