B&B Slotstraat is gevestigd in de Slotstraat te Dreischor. De voormalige vlasschuur en houtzagerij achter ons monumentale woonhuis hebben we verbouwd tot een accomodatie met twee kamers en een atelier. Vanaf 1 juni 2019 zullen wij hier onze eerste gasten ontvangen. De beide kamers hebben vloerverwarming, tv, gratis wifi, eigen sanitair en een zonnig terras grenzend aan de binnentuin. Het ontbijt is inbegrepen en serveren we in een gezamenlijke ontbijtkamer. Deze kamer is ook bedoeld voor iedereen die graag leest, muziek luistert, een spelletje doet of een praatje maakt. Fietsen kunt u (overdekt) bij de accomocatie kwijt. Ook voor kunst kunt u bij ons terecht; om te bezichtigen of om zelf te maken. Informeer naar de mogelijkheden.
Wij, Willem en Judith, zijn sinds begin 2018 inwoners van Dreischor, het volgens velen mooiste ringdorp op Schouwen-Duiveland. We genieten van het dorp, de inwoners, het eiland en de ruimte en mogelijkheden die het huis ons biedt, zoals het starten van B&B Slotstraat maar ook het werken in een atelier aan huis. Naast eigenaar van deze B&B zijn wij beiden ook beeldend kunstenaar. Wij houden van ontmoeten en verbinden en maken dat graag een onderdeel van onze dienstverlening. Er is altijd de mogelijkheid om tijdens een verblijf onze kunst te zien en erover in gesprek te gaan. Wij zien er naar uit om jullie te ontvangen.
Dreischor. In 1973 aangewezen als beschermd dorpsgezicht en in 2001 uitgeroepen tot groenste dorp van Europa. Dat ligt natuurlijk alweer even achter ons, maar zowel de Ring als het groen in en rond het dorp zijn er nog en zeker een bezoek waard. Dreischor zelf vinden wij ook prachtig vanwege de museumboerderij, een indrukwekkend grote kerk, mooi natuurpark en wijnboerderij die een bezoek waard zijn. Ook fijn is de stilte, de mooie luchten en de ruimte en de kleuren van de natuur om ons. En buiten Dreischor is er ook voor elk wat wils; van wandelen, fietsen, duiken en surfen tot een bezoek aan het Watersnoodmuseum, de Neeltje Jans of prachtig Zierikzee.
