Our home is nestled on the edge of the Mayan jungle, 20 metres from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Surrounded by nature, art and ancient Mayan culture – it is truly paradise. We welcome you to our home and hope that you will find it as inspiring and healing as we do. At 'Gorila' we use the money we get from our rooms to support our resident artists and the social/environmental projects we do together. For example, as I am writing, we are honoured to have our first indigenous artist from the Huichol tribe staying with us. GOOD STUFF TO KNOW: - We are walking distance from the best restaurants and bars of the beach zone. - Located less than 1 km from Sian Ka'an Biosphere. - Walking distance cenote. - Little grocery store in front of our property. - Private Security in the Residence at night. We are 40 meters from the beach, on the jungle side of the small, private beach road. There is access to the beach directly opposite through ‘Maliix" beach club and full service from its restaurant (with a minimum comsumption). The operation time is form 8 am till 6 pm. We are in the jungle so don’t be surprised if you see a scorpion (not harmful at all), crabs, geckos or any other insects. Our energy comes from solar panels; it is limited, so it’s really important to be aware about how you consume energy. Its good enough to charge your phone and computers, but using a hair dryer will kill the batteries.
