Casa Mahe is a traditionally built house and is located in a quiet area of Chelem, 200 meters from the beach. Lots of nature and few neighbors invite you to relax. Casa MAHE was completely renovated at the end of 2022. We had the furniture built by a small handicraft company at the beginning of 2023. The house has a nice big room with a view to the garden. At night you can see the stars from the comfortable queen size bed. A dream to sleep and relax. A kitchen, bathroom with shower, outdoor shower and a large terrace complete the offer.
Tobias and Gaby are the contact persons on site. Tobias is German and has been living in Mexico for several years. He offers customized tours and leisure/fitness activities with "Corzox - Fitness & Adventure Travel": Snorkeling and diving in the sea and cenotes, jet skiing, kayaking/SUP on the sea or through the mangroves, caving, workout on the beach or among ancient Mayan sites.... Gaby is Mexican and therefore knows the local customs very well. Heike and Marcel are responsible for everything that can be arranged online.
Chelem is a small fishing town and right on the Gulf of Mexico. With its charm and flair, Chelem has become a very hip and cool place to live or vacation in recent years. Chelem is located north of Mérida and is part of the port city of Progreso. It is also a hotspot for kiters and surfers. The partly shallow shore area is also good for children. Chelem offers many restaurants and even a pastry shop. One has many shopping possibilities. There is also an emergency doctor around the clock. The area is warm all year round (Ø over 30 °C) and very picturesque. Yucatan's capital Mérida, the white city, is easily reached by car or bus in half an hour. There is a beautiful old town, with the oldest cathedral of the entire American continent. Colorful markets, many stores and sights - and an international airport.
