Hi, I am Eika. Nice to meet you. My husband and I run a small architectural structure design company in Tokyo. We traveled a lot when we were in our 20s but recently too busy to go around. Our son is studying at Brown University as an undergraduate and to visit him becomes the only chance to go abroad. Also that's the only chance that we ourselves can stay at an Airbnb and found it was much fun to stay in local than at a hotel. Built in Showa period, the building charms with authentic Japanese style as well as western style infused with Japanese essence, boasting a spacious floor plan. The view of the garden will be relaxing as well. The highlight of this house is its 100% pure ONSEN. Continuous flow directly from the source makes all-time soak-in possible. Easy ACCESS is also our advantage. Highway buses from Shinjuku or Haneda take you directly to the nearest bus stop which is only 3-min(Haneda is 7-min) walk away. - This house has a spacious living-dining room, 3 Tatami bedrooms. an onsen- bathroom with 24 hours hot spring flowing from the source, a fully-equipped kitchen and two toilets. - Free high-speed home wifi, Free Netflix, 3 parking lots are available. - A convenient store is in 7 minute walk and some tasty and reasonable restaurants are available nearby. - We have a upright piano and a very nice audio system in the living room. 1. You have access to the entire house. One night, one group. 2. Some storage space is host only. There is a security camera OUT of the entrance.

Neighbourhood information

This villa is located in Sengokuhara area of Hakone. The famous Sengokuhara Pampas Grass Fields, POLA Museum of Art, Glass Museum, Lalique Museum are all at this area. It has breathtaking view and artistic atmosphere. Also shops and restaurants are available in this area which are easy to access. ===Transportation=== - The easiest way to come is to take highway bus. Departing from Shinjuku, the buses can take you directly to the nearest bus stop, TokyoHoso-Iriguchi. From there, it's only 3 minute walk to my place. And the highway bus from Haneda Airport can take you to "Sengoku-Kogen" bus stop, then 7 min walk to our house. This is very convenient especially when you are with your luggage. No worries you can still use Hakone freepass and the freepass will give you a discount when you take the highway bus from Shinjuku. - If you prefer train or if you are from west Japan, T Line bus from Odawara or HakoneYumoto can also take you directly to TokyoHoso-Iriguchi, the nearest bus stop. - If you are bounding for Mt. Fuji after Hakone, you can take the highway bus or Hakone local bus to Gotemba from the nearest bus stop, then transfer to the bus bound for Mt.Fuji.
