Nagatoro NEMAKI is located in the center of sightseeing in Nagatoro, a 4-minute walk from Nagatoro Station on the Chichibu Railway. A 1-minute walk away, there is a reception desk for going down the line, a famous shaved ice shop that uses natural ice, and a coffee stand in a container designed and roasted by the same owner. An 8-minute walk to Hodosan Shrine, one of the three Chichibu Shrines, a 10-minute walk to Hodosan Ropeway platform, and a zoo near the summit. The mountains that extend from Mt. Hodo are called the Nagatoro Alps, and since they can be climbed in about three hours, many people visit them for light mountain climbing. After crossing the station, you can easily explore "Nagatoro Valley" with old-fashioned shopping streets and "Iwadatami", a spectacular view of the Arakawa River. In the Arakawa River, ``line kudari'', which is a boat that descends the rapids, ``rafting'' in rubber boats, and recently ``SUP'', which is a standing rowing surfing, is also popular as a river activity.
