Situated in a mansion built in the early '900 in the historic center of Acireale, holiday home Suites in Sicily offers its guests the opportunity to live in a traditional house, fascinating and at the same time intimate and friendly, suitable for anyone looking for a middle ground between privacy and quality, charm and accessibility.
Center of tourist tradition, Acireale is famous mainly for its baroque, its carnival and its spa. Called the "city of a hundred bell towers", because of the presence on its territory of dozens of historic churches, the city offers an incredible variety of monuments from different periods and style. Not only Acireale... Acireale is a perfect base for exploring the eastern Sicily. A stone's throw from Catania, it’s easily accessible from Fontanarossa airport and well connected to the rest of the Ionian coast by the highway A18 (Catania-Messina). Acireale, an ideal base for excursions to Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe (recently included in the UNESCO Heritage), is also very close to the sea, reachable even walking through the typical path Chiazzette. Among other closer destinations worth visiting, Aci Trezza and its Faraglioni, Taormina, Castelmola, Isola Bella, the Alcantara Gorges, Piazza Armerina, Siracusa and the baroque cities of Val di Noto, World Heritage Site.
