## The Space This gorgeous 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom, first floor apartment (without elevator) in the centre of Florence has everything you'll need to stay comfortably and safely. The entire apartment has been completely renovated and decorated with attention to details and refined taste for design furniture and comforts. ## The neighborhood Santa Croce is the most beautiful neighborhood in the historic center with culture and restaurants, markets and shops Getting around The house is in a pedestrian area, surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. Paid parking a few meters away in Beccaria Square. Economic parking long term square trees The apartment is just 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and from Piazza Santa Croce . From Santa Maria Novella central station you can reach the apartment by the C2 bus and get off at Piazza Beccaria stop. Alternatively, we recommend a taxi. ## Getting around Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which stands for “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone so this means that if you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras and access cameras (they will show either a red /green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact one of the private garages in the centre (the one nearest the apartment you are staying in) and obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, guests must specify their need for access in the ZTL and the garage will then note the vehicle’s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters ##Getting around It's near the Fortezza da Basso which hosts events such as “Firenze Fiera" Congress and fashion shows such as “Pitti Immagine". It is also very close to the Palazzo dei Congressi, the Historic Central Market in Florence with traditional shops that return centrality to the artisans of taste .
