Ciao, my name is Lisa. I am usually your first contact with Podere Casanova, and I'll be here to welcome you upon your arrival to our home. To introduce myself, I'll borrow from what many of our guests (who I prefer to call friends) tell me on the day of departure: "from our vacation in Tuscany, we will recall everything with pleasure: the beautiful sunsets, the historical cities and small villages, the marvelous view from the pool, but above all, we will remember your smile." Podere Casanova is a small family-run business. You'll meet my large and beautiful family who run the estate alongside me: my husband Tommaso, my older sister Lara, my parents Biagio and Maria and my childrens Niccolò and Margherita. We love our work, and our goal is to make your vacation unforgettable! You can enjoy the calm and beauty of the Tuscan countryside at Podere Casanova and, if you wish, spend some time getting to know us.

Property information

Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards is a tiny, charming seventeenth-century farmhouse. We offer apartments with a either a terrace or a private garden, all equipped with an outdoor table and chairs and a barbecue. There is private parking for each apartment, a playground for children, a laundry, and free Wi-Fi. Upon arrival at Podere Casanova you will find yourselves looking out onto a unique panorama as our farmhouse sits on top of a little hill with sweeping views over the manicured woods, olive groves and vineyards surrounding Podere Casanova. The pool, is encircled by 800 metres of fully enclosed garden offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Podere Casanova also has areas especially designed for children, with a playground close to the reception with swings, slippery dips, table football, ping pong, and for animal lovers there are also billy-goats and chickens. Every Saturday organize welcome buffet meals with typical Tuscan from April to October, for minimum of 3 families taking part. We organise Pizza evenings every Wednesday from April to October, for minimum of 3 families taking part.

Only 7 km away from Podere Casanova are two delightful villages that you can visit, Montespertoli and Montelupo, where there are bars, restaurants, pizzerias, trattorias, and sandwich shops also open on Sundays. Moreover, just 500 m away from Podere Casanova is a Bar/Minimarket/Pizzeria, also open on Sundays (closed on Thursdays and only open for pizzas on Saturdays and Sundays). Our farmhouse is situated in the heart of Tuscany and in fact it is very easy to reach the most beautiful and evocative tourist attractions from here, to name a just few, Florence, San Gimignano, and Volterra, etc. Distances to: Florence 22 Km San Gimignano 33 km Siena 73 km Pisa 65 km Volterra 78 km Lucca 94 km Etc…
