THE APARTMENT: Cosy and spacious loft apartment situated a short walk from Lago Maggiore. An ideal holiday home for couples as well as for families with kids (or babies). The apartment is spacious (about 100m2), consisting of • a large living room with two sofas (single sofa-bed), a TV and many bookshelves. • a good-sized kitchen with dining area for 6 people. The kitchen itself is equipped with a large fridge, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, coffee machine, kettle and microwave as well as everything you need to cook. • A newly renovated bathroom with walk-in shower, two sinks, WC, bidet and washing machine (also drying rack, iron and iron board available). • A master bedroom with a king-size bed and a large wardrobe. It also got a desk and chair in case you are in need of an office corner. • Two small bedrooms situated in a cosy alcove of the apartment: one with a single bed plus wardrobe, while the other one with a double-size sofa bed. The apartment comes with a free Wi-Fi network, a private garden and a free reserved parking space (and many more along the road). The garden (150m2) is fenced and has a small tucked-away area to relax in. It is a great space for your kids and pets to play around. PLEASE NOTE: 1) Air condition is only available in the living room, 2) tourist tax of 1 Euro per person per day is not included and has to be paid upon arrival, 3) There is a 25 Euro charge per stay for each pet, which needs to be paid upon arrival. The lakefront in Ispra has two sandy beaches, a harbour, the tourist office and two bars and restaurants. Enjoy a beautiful panorama, while having an “aperitivo” or a nice stroll along the “Passeggiata Dell'Amore“ (Walk of Love) or the cycle/pedestrian promenade. You can stop to swim or sunbathe at many spots. If you’ve got kids then the small playground and the sandy beach (beach toys are in the apartment) are a great place to be. From the pier, you can take the small ferry to visit many attractions in the area such as the beautiful Borromeo Islands, Stresa (especially nice on market days), the monastery of Santa Caterina del Sasso and others. Around Ispra and further afield there are numerous beautiful walks and hikes and even climbing and via ferrata!
