La Casa del Capitano is a small but full-comfort, modern apartment near the sea in Scerne, a green suburb of Pineto. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you might need for cooking. The bathroom has been newly renovated so there is a flat shower tray to ease the entrance for everybody. In the bedroom there is a big wardrobe, a comfy bed and a small space for a folding cot. There is a free parking lot on the street and there’s a private parking space for a small to medium car.
In front of the apartment there is a holiday resort called Hapimag and it’s surrounded by good restaurants, caffès and ice-cream shops. The Adriatic bycicle path is right next to the sea so it’s very easy to get to Pineto in only 15-20 minutes. In Scerne the beach is stoney and there’s a beautiful green space where you can lay down in the grass and relax or you can rent an umbrella with sun chair or bed in one of the lidos. In Pineto, only 5 km away, the beach is sandy and very shallow so it’s more ideal for small kids to bath and play. In the centre of Scerne there is a small grocery store, a bakery, a farmacy, a post office, a bank and two hairdressers. There is also a beauty saloon right next to the Casa del Capitano. In Pineto and in Roseto there are several big supermarkets and other shops, services, bars and restaurants. Only 10 km from Pineto on a hill you can visit Atri, a beautiful, small, historic town with a lot of monuments.
