Heart of Tuscany is an ancient historic home of the 1600s, the apartment is located in the historic center of Monterotondo Marittimo (GR) in one of the most characteristic alleys of the village near the ancient Rocca degli Alberti. A short distance away and within easy walking distance is the Geo Museum and the Biancane Natural Park (UNESCO site). Within walking distance we find supermarket, coop, bakery, post offices, bank, pharmacy, bar, snack bar, theater, etc. The apartment has been the subject of a recent and careful renovation in respect of the characteristics of the ancient original structure with particular attention to the attention to detail, presents fine finishes such as the old antique terracotta floor, wooden ceilings, the kitchen in masonry, etc. The careful enhancement of the ancient elements enriched by antiques and contemporary design objects makes the harmonious, warm and welcoming atmosphere ideal for a wellness and relaxation holiday. The apartment is located in Monterotondo Marittimo in the heart of Tuscany of the metalliferous hills famous for the mineral deposits and the geological phenomena of the boraciferous shower heads, a unique spectacle of their kind. The village is surrounded by the green of Mediterranean scrubland ideal for relaxation and trekking. In Monterotondo Marittimo we find the technological Geomuseo Mubia at the site of the Biancane Natural Park (Unesco Site) easily reachable on foot from the apartment, in the surrounding areas we find mining routes and ancient mines to visit, in Larderello the geothermal museum, for those who love the thermal baths at Sasso Pisano find the biolothermal biolago center, etc. Monterotondo Marittimo is also a strategic position to reach the most important tourist and cultural destinations of Tuscany, 15 min. by car Massa Marittima, 40 min the famous Abbey of San Galgano and Spada in the rock, 1 h Volterra, 1.30 h San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, etc. ..
