Situated in the small village of Quercegrossa (5km north of Siena), we offer a light and airy, sparkling clean one bedroom apartment, with two private bathrooms and private front entrances via the shared patio. There is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and an open living/dining room with a bathroom and a very small kitchenette (limited cooking facilities). This room has a very comfortable double sofa bed. Constant hot water, free Wifi and air-conditioning. Perfect for 2 people (with an extra 1 or 2 guests using the sofa bed in the living room). The apartment is beautifully decorated in a clean, fresh modern style and accessorised with all the requisites of a perfect stay. The adjoining shared patio gives extra space in which to sit and relax in the sun, maybe with a glass of Chianti wine! The apartment is for the sole use of the guests. There is a connecting door between the two rooms which can be open or locked. Both rooms have a private front door onto the shared patio. It is on street level and there is free private parking for one car to the rear of the property.
I'm born and bred British and I moved to this wonderful 'bell paese' Italy about 14 years ago. Together with my Italian partner, we have renovated our home here near Siena, in the Chianti hills of Tuscany. As a result, we have this beautiful apartment to offer you. We've created a peaceful, modern, sparkling clean haven for your pleasure. Casa T&G is the perfect place to stay when your intention is to explore the breathtaking Tuscan countryside or visit one of the many enchanting villages or cities. Very near to us there is also the beautiful outdoor swimming pool complex of Mulino, a great place to cool off on hot days. The medieval city of Siena is very near (6km- direct bus just outside the door!), then just take your pick:- Monteriggioni, Castelina in Chianti, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Val D'Orca, Voltera, Pienza, Radda, Greve, San Giminiano, Florence, Arezzo, Pisa, Perugia, all within easy reach of Casa T&G. As we live adjacent to the apartment, our availability is very open and flexible. Generally one of us at hand when needed. We are happy to share our phone number for your convenience. If privacy is important to you, then we are happy to leave you to enjoy the apartment in peace. We are here to welcome you and help or assist as much or as little as needed. We are very lucky to be situated in the quiet, friendly village of Quercegrossa (6km north of Siena). Here we have two small supermarkets one with a bar, there is a community sports centre with a bar and here you can book to play tennis and also enjoy the summer festivals which are regularly held here. There is a hairdresser, a laundry and all the things which a small village needs. In the summer months, nearby there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool complex - 'The Mulino of Quercegrossa', with a nice wine bar and restaurant. The surrounding area is perfect for cycling, hiking and exploring. Quercegrossa is very near to the medieval city of Siena, and is an excellent starting point for visiting the surrounding Tuscan villages and towns. Even though we are in a small village in the country, we are blessed with transport. There is a bus stop into Siena close to our front door, this bus also connects with Siena's train station, which then connects with the airports Pisa and Florence - so you don't even need to hire a car! Our position is perfect for exploring Tuscany as we are in the middle, everything is just a stone's throw away!
