In Casa Le Querce you will live in a new built house with facades in local stone enjoying a comfortable 2-room apartment with a large terrace set in the first floor from where to admire a fantastic view over Cilento National Park with mountains, hills and even the sea. The apartment is furnished with love to detail in local style and equipped with everything you need. You will enjoy a separate independent entrance and the degree of privacy you chose. But knowing that for any emergency your local host is always there to help.
Me and my family live on site in and independent apartment in the ground floor and will provide you with lots of useful tips of where to go and what to see in the area. I am a professional licensed tourist guide of Regione Campania and love this place. I have lived many years abroad in Germany, Switzerland and the U.K. but now live here with my family. I like nature, history and especially archaeology, my preferred spots are the Temple ruins of Paestum, the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
You will stay in the countryside and at the same time very close to a nice hillside village (Ogliastro Cilento) in 300 m above sea level. The house is immerged in a nice hillside landscape of olive groves and oak trees where you can really relax surrounded by nature. In 10 min. you easily reach the coast with its fantastic beaches and nice to see places and of course real city life with many opportunities. However around the house you will find a good selection of very typical local restaurants where to eat well and not to spend a lot. From here you can visit all the world famous spots of the area starting with Paestum, Salerno, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Amalfi and its coast but especially the Cilento Coast and the inland of this marvellous Cilento National Park.
