Nice and large studio apartment with mezzanine, finely and recently renovated in an ancient convent, in the heart of the historic center of the splendid medieval village of Castelfranco di Sopra, nestled on the hills of the Apennines. Perfect starting point for your stay in Tuscany with the most important cities of art easily reachable by car or by public transport (bus + train). Florence, Siena and Arezzo can be reached in less than an hour by car.
My wife Susanna and I are passionate about our area and we love welcoming our guests to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the wonders of nature, art, history and cuisine that the Valdarno and Tuscany can offer.
The apartment is located in the centre of the village, on the main road coming from the central square. The area in which the apartment is located is subject to traffic control, on certain days and times it is therefore possible to access only in the presence of a specific authorization which can be requested for the period of stay in the structure if equal to or greater than two weeks. In the immediate vicinity of the apartment it is generally quite easy to find parking, moreover just outside the city walls there is a large free parking lot where you can leave your car at any time. It is also possible to move by public transport (the bus stop is located less than 200 m from the apartment) to reach the main places or take a train, however the availability of a vehicle certainly makes transfers easier. It is possible to rent a car locally, if interested I can provide useful information.
