The Blue Lake Home penthouse is in the hearth of Desenzano, next to the lake and surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops. Gardaland and Canevaworld theme parks are great for kids and they are just a short drive away. Other activities you can do include top golf courses, sailing, windsurfing, or relax at the Sirmione thermal bath. Lake Garda is indeed a perfect place for holidays!
One of the largest and most cosmopolitan resorts on Lake Garda, with plenty of culture to explore and a direct train link to Verona, Venice and Milan. Desenzano is one of only two resorts on the lake that has a train station, which gives visitors easy access to Milan, Verona and Venice and makes the resort equally popular with Italians who live in the city and want to spend a few days relaxing beside the lake. If you'd rather travel by water, the ferry service is a scenic way to explore the resorts on the east side of the lake, like Bardolino and Garda. The town itself is famous for its museum, Roman villa and the fashionable boutiques crammed into its narrow streets, as well as the gelaterias, cafés and bars dotted throughout. Each week it hosts a large market that spreads along the harbour front. From the harbour, follow the esplanade along the lakefront and you’ll reach shingle beaches either side of the town. Desenzano’s travel links make it a great base from which to explore the lake. As well as the city train, its regular bus service will also take you up through the towns and villages on the west side of the lake, finally stopping at Riva del Garda, Lake Garda's mo
