Property information

Feeling 'at home' in the beautiful light of Rome Adjacent to Piazza delle ‘Belle Arti’ in the Flaminio district, in a quiet private street a house, spacious, with an independent entrance easy to access for both luggage and people with reduced mobility Located in a building dating back to 1937 it has, as per the architecture of the time, LARGE WINDOWS that flood it with LIGHT. Located in a strategic position, it is 800 metres from Pizzale Flaminio with the Metro A stop and Piazza del Popolo from where the trident of fashion starts: Via del Babbuino, Via del Corso, Via della Scrofa and Piazza di Spagna, where you can visit the ateliers of the great Italian designers or the mega stores, reachable on foot or by numerous buses. In the same direction you can reach the Trevi fountain and further on the Imperial Forums and the Colosseum . The Vatican City and St Peter's Basilica are 3 km away. On the opposite side of the Via Flaminia the district is teeming with museums and places of art and sport Etruscan Museum of Valle Giulia 400 m, Maxi Museum 700 m with its numerous events, Auditorium 900 m. But for those who love sport, the Stadio dei Marmi is about 1 km away and the Olympic Stadium and Tennis Stadium are nearby. At 1 km the Bioparco the beautiful zoo of Rome that extends into the gardens of Villa Borghese and is a pleasant experience for adults and children alike Behind the house, accessible from the second entrance, the tree-lined Lungotevere Flaminio offers pleasant walks along the banks of the Tiber River, perhaps for an aperitif at Ponte Milvio Perfect for those in Rome who want to combine a visit to the main monuments with a visit to the many museums of ancient and contemporary art . Also functional for business stays with the two workstations in the rooms equipped with fast internet connection via cable semi fibre The house has an independent entrance with only two steps which, on request, are equipped with ramps for people with reduced mobility.

Neighbourhood information

The Flaminio district in which the house is located is among the first neighbourhoods to be created in 1911, officially established in 1921. Over the years, the prestige of this district has grown, and it has become a sort of cultural container, thanks to the numerous museums, theatres and multifunctional centres The district stretches from Ponte Milvio on the banks of the Tiber river, on the slopes of the Parioli hill to Piazzale Flaminio and the gateway to Piazza del Popolo With the National Exhibition of 1911, the area defines its prevailing character, still today, as a cultural and entertainment centre. This is where the various exhibition venues of Valle Giulia are located, with the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia, the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art and the foreign pavilions, and the more recent Maxxi Museum dedicated to 21st century art and the striking Bridge of Music . But the majestic Auditorium Parco della Musica by Renzo Piano with its numerous events is also here. The origin projected towards culture and art also emerges from the choice of the names of the streets and squares: Piazza Belle Arti, from which our house takes its name, Via del Ghirlandaio, our address, dedicated to Domenico Ghirlandaio, a 15th-century painter, Viale Tiziano, Via Cimabue, Via Guido Reni and many others are the names of the streets in this district dedicated to the painters of the same name. Crossing Ponte Milvio on the other side of the Tiber you will find the Foro Italico, a large complex dedicated to the athletics or go to the Olympic Stadium to watch a match or concert, or to the Tennis Stadium . Walking up Via Flaminia, which crosses it and from which it takes its name, you will reach Piazzale Flaminio and Piazza del Popolo, strolling among ancient buildings, some of them of rare beauty. Here is one of the most beautiful entrances to Villa Borghese
