Property information

The B&B Al Consulate is located in a historic building near Santa Maria Novella railway station and then the historic center of Florence, in the Porta al Prato area. The flat completely renovated, furnished with modern and different style for each room, allowing guests to enjoy a very convenient location for the center, which can be reached in 5-minute walk or through a one-stop Tramway line T1 that connects Scandicci to Santa Maria Novella station with the bus stop about 100 meters away. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, 32 inch television, a safe and a cloakroom in addition to the badge of access to the structure and the rooms, which guarantees the guests autonomy of access to the structure. In addition, all rooms are en suite and exclusive newly built and equipped with all comforts. Breakfast is served at the "Sapienti e Crociani" pastry shop which is located 150 meters from our hotel.

Neighbourhood information

The B&B is located in the Porta al Prato area, which takes its name from the famous Gateway to the city that dates back to 1285. The area, elegant and quiet, allowing guests to experience the city comfortably and spend the night away from the hustle of the Florentine night life. The availability of many bars, restaurants and secure parking, complete the profile of a perfect host for every type of guest. A short distance from our B&B, there is the Fortress of San Giovanni Battista better known as the Fortezza da Basso that annually hosts dozens of events, exhibitions and fairs, including several related events at Pitti Immagine. In addition, less than 100 meters away it is the Stazione Leopolda, the first train station built in Florence, which today, following its restructuring and upgrading has become one of the centers for meetings and conferences of the most popular cities. A short walk from the B&B Al Consulate, is the park of the farms where walkers and the Jogging outdoors can take a break in the shade of century-old trees lining the avenue.
