The outlook was beautiful and the hotel was lovely. The food was great, the staff was excellent, and as we missed our last breakfast because we had to leave early, the Receptionist organised for the chef to pack us two bags of water, fruit, focaccia bread and pastries. That was so kind and greatly appreciated for our long journey ahead. Thank you everyone.

The room and bathroom were immaculate the beds were one of the most comfortable i have stayed in and the hotel had a beautiful fragrance. The hotel is in the centre of pistoia so minutes away from shops and restaurants. When we arrived the lady at the desk walked to our car to make sure we were parked correctly unfortunately we didn't get her name but we were very grateful to her . Highly recommended 👌

Everything was perfect. The hostess was very welcoming and helped with any questions. Our room was large and clean as was the bathroom. In addition, the room is very comfortably furnished. You feel good all around. The breakfast was outstanding. We will definitely be back and would recommend this accommodation to anyone. See you again soon!

Do not use the street address to locate the property as that leads you to the neighbour’s house downhill, use the accommodation location in Google Maps instead to lead you uphill via a side road.
The host met us onsite at the prearranged time and showed us the apartment and its facilities. A map of the town was provided with car parks noted outside the ZTL zone.
The apartment is on the upper floor, reached by a flight of steps. There are flyscreens on every window so there wasn’t any mosquito inside.
Air conditioner is excellent as it quickly cooled the room. We didn’t cook but noticed that basic ingredients were inside the cupboards. There is a full sized fridge and freezer.
Car parking is inside the property and the code to open the electric gate was provided.

Wonderful atmospheric largely medieval and early Renaissance City - very compact and walkable. Less than 45 minutes from Florence by train but with less than 1 % of the tourist numbers. Surrounded by wonderful countryside. Beautiful in itself as well as being an ideal touring base at a fraction of the price or congestion of Florence. Very easy to get around on foot and with a very good selection of restaurants in the historic center serving excellent Tuscan cuisine

Having stayed in the hustle and bustle of Pisa and Florence...
Having stayed in the hustle and bustle of Pisa and Florence previously, I loved the more laid back feel here.
Plenty of cafes, restaurants, little shops, beautiful architecture all within walking distance and not overly crowded.
The little squares had live music and the local families came out together to eat on Sunday. There was even a local wine tasting tour around the squares - you purchased a glass (refundable, or keep as a souvenir) and then 'tickets' to try the different wines at each trattoria that was participating - some 20+ - needless to say, a little tiddled by the afternoon!
The market (on Wednesday and Saturday) was lovely and there were no street traders bothering you with their fake watches and leather goods that were everywhere in the bigger cities.
Pistoia was the best part of our Italian tour!

While it is a typical Italian Toscana town, it has a lot of space for improvements. Amazing floral sites and offers but otherwise the streets and buildings feel neglected except of around the few main attractions. But that's quite common even in Florence or Pisa. Obviously not a lot of need to do more when your sites are full of tourists anyway. :)

Small but beautiful, with a friendly, bustling feel.
Small but beautiful, with a friendly, bustling feel. Close to Florence, Lucca and Pisa (all on the same branchline by train). Stunning architecture, but quieter and less crowded than Florence. A hidden gem! I believe it is well known for its garden centres - I saw some of them from the train. And someone told me thare is a train museum there, but I can't confirm that
This is an exceptional property for the location and cannot be beaten, I come to Pistoia for work and I cannot fault my numerous stays at Locando San Marco, always greeted with a smile and for us this is a home from home, Emanuel and Jasmin will make sure your stay is without fault and are always on hand to help in any way they can.
On a practical note they have helped get us through all the Covid restrictions and have offered to process paperwork and book any outside certification we needed.
We really liked Casale dell' Orso. The location is super convenient, a few minutes from Pistoia downtown and from supermarkets. The room was really big! It also had a little balcony with a table and the view on the garden. Air conditioning worked very well. The pool is perfect both for kids and adults. At breakfast there was a good variety, satisfying both Italians and non Italians preferences. We loved and we will stay there again if we go back to Pistoia!
We had a wonderful stay at Dimora Storica Palazzo Puccini! Fabiana, our host and the hotel manager, was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable The breakfast was exceptional! We found it to be very conveniently located, as it is right in the center of Pistoia, just a short walk from the train station, museums and San Zeno Cathedral. This where we will stay when we return. Thank you Fabiana!
The room was refurbished.. it was beautifully finished.. clean sparkling white towels everyday.. when I asked for some assistance re baby food they were all very helpfull, both staff at reception and the attendees at the breakfast room.. smell of cleanliness.. area of the hotel is just magical...quite.. we had a quadraple room and it was spacious and not cramped and the wardrobe was suitable size to accomodate us all.
I have traveled in Italy many times. I am not a fan of high end hotels. What I liked about this accommodation is the spirit of Italy I found. Lots of space, lots of chickens even a peacock and of course, a cat. The hosts were wonderful, so considerate, making our stay quite memorable. My friend from Prato thought a visit to Pisoia would not be that interesting but I thought it a city worthy of exploration.
Antonela was an amazing host. She made our visit to Pistoia unforgetable. Her breakfest every morning was exceptional. Also her suggestions about places to visit made us get to know more about Italy and to see places we would never know about.
Our dog was treated with kindness and love.
Thank you Antonela for everything and we will be back to visit your beautiful property..
Great place, small hotel, but with everything you need. Clean, nice, well-equipped. Wonderful and helpful owners. Italian breakfasts ;) Private, closed parking space. B&B is close to the center with lots of tasty and charming restaurants and close to the train station, which made Pistoja an ideal place for trips to Florence.
I definitely, highly recommend it.
Superb beds, silent big room, perfect airco. Splendid location, and perfect to have a good stay and rest in the cosy but amusing Pistoia. Located in ZTL (low traffic zone), but that's no problem for hotel guests! The instructions upfront and help from the staff upon arrival are clear, so that it's definitely no issue at all.
Great location, just few steps from Pistoia trainstation. Very well connected with Firenze. Market just near. Bars, restaurants. Appartment is big, clean, and very nice. Want to save some money and still visit Firenze? Appartamento Beatrice is great choice. Recommended!
This is a special property in a special location. Pistoia is a hidden gem! We wish we would have allowed more time here. The host did a great job of decorating and providing a special experience. The breakfast was over the top!! Super value for the price.
Breakfast as good as I have ever had in hundreds of hotels
Archictecture .Hotel is first floor of what was home of richest family in City for 14 generations
It was a parador at price of travelodge
Staff very friendly and helpfulCannot
The hotel is a hidden gem in a wonderful town. Both breakfast (included) and dinner (paid extra) were superb and I’d love to have stayed longer. Our rooms (me and mum) looked over the piazza Della Sala and it was so lively. Fantastic.
Location absolutely fantastic - only a few yards from the beautiful central square of Pistoia and the historic Duomo. Really superb restaurants a few yards away with some of the best local cuisine in Italy. Doesn't get any better.
Perfect place to stay in Pistoia! Close to centre, and train station is only 2 min walk away. Comfy, clean and great price, and very kind hosts. The smart keys for checkin was very handy and easy to use. Thankyou for having us!
In the very historical center of the town, this is an old and elegant hotel with all the modern facilities you may need. Excellent breakfast and staff. A great option for visiting Pistoia, a place definitely worth a visit.
Great friendly and helpful staff, nice surroundings, wonderful poolarea, great breakfast, nice location between Lucca and Florence. Close to the citycenter of Pistoia by bicycle. We had a fanstastic stay for 3 nights.
